Intronis’ mission was to design and implement an affordable and easy-to-use online backup solution that encompassed the functionality and features of backup systems used by Fortune 500 companies and make them available to organizations of any size. eSureIT online backup meets these lofty goals and has built a reputation for providing world-class customer service and technical support. Our History.
In their work with numerous technology companies and IT professionals in the late 1990s, the Intronis founders realized that most businesses were not backing up their critical data. Furthermore, the few businesses that were performing backups did not have an effective and reliable method for securing the data off-site. This realization led to the creation of Intronis Technologies. After three years of research and development, the eSureIT online backup service was launched in 2003.
In October of 2007 Intronis entered into a relationship with OpenView Venture Partners, www.openviewpartners.com, who made not only a capital investment but also provided management and product development guidance to Intronis. The result has been a nimble, forward-looking organization with a reputation for delivering high quality and innovative technologies, uniquely positioned to lead the online backup industry. January of 2008 marked the opening of Intronis’ new headquarters in Boston, MA and the establishment of its Technology and Development Center in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
